Running together against cancer in Almería

This past Sunday, February 9, Almería turned green with hope for the ‘Race Against Cancer,’ a solidarity event organized by the Spanish Association Against Cancer in the province.

A day of sports and solidarity, joined by thousands of people with the main goal of raising awareness for the fight against this disease, as well as raising funds for research and patient support.

Among the participants, we are proud to highlight the presence of three of our colleagues from Piagua: Emilio Alcarria, Antonio Hernández, and Fran Fernández, who proudly carried our name on their shirts.

Their effort and commitment reflect the values that drive us as a company: teamwork, solidarity, and engagement with our communities.

This race not only had the participation of runners and volunteers but also the support of numerous organizations that, like us, are committed to social causes that improve the lives of many people.

Initiatives that strengthen the connection between sports and solidarity, promoting healthy lifestyle habits and reminding us of the importance of prevention and mutual support.

We want to congratulate our colleagues for their participation, but above all for their effort, and also extend our recognition to all the organizers who made this event possible.

Small gestures like this create big changes, and at Cooke España, we will continue promoting initiatives that contribute to the well-being of our community.

Thank you for carrying our spirit of solidarity all the way to the finish line!
