At Cooke Spain, we believe aquaculture is not only a sustainable way to feed the world — it’s also a chance to make a positive impact in the communities where we live and work.

That’s why, once again, our hatchery Aquicultura Balear has teamed up with the Conselleria de Agricultura, Pesca i Medi Natural of the Govern de les Illes Balears to carry out a special donation of fresh fish in the municipality of Andratx: 5.000 sea bass, each weighing around one kilo.

The fish were packed in 1.000 ice-cooled boxes at the Fishermen’s Guild Centre in Andratx and distributed to eight local social organisations of Mallorca.

Local authorities and representatives from the charities we support joined the event, which reflected our lasting commitment to community wellbeing and to making healthy, nutritious food accessible to all.
